Legal Plan
The MetLaw/Hyatt Legal Plan provides you telephone and in-person consultations for an unlimited number of matters with an in-network attorney of your choosing. During the consultation, the attorney will review the law, discuss your rights and responsibilities, explore your options, and recommend a course of action.
UMass employees may enroll in MetLaw/Hyatt Legal Plan coverage during Annual Enrollment any year. Covered employees may proactively elect to terminate coverage during Annual Enrollment (but not during the plan year). The MetLaw/Hyatt Legal Plan premium is paid via post-tax payroll deduction.
