Understanding Your Pay
The Payroll team is dedicated to ensuring the accurate and timely processing of employee compensation while maintaining compliance with all applicable laws and regulations. We strive to provide exceptional service to our employees and contribute to the overall efficiency of the organization.
- Pay Process and Schedule: UMass Boston has a bi-weekly payroll system. Paychecks are issued on Friday. Please refer to the 2024 Pay Calendar and 2025 Pay Calendar for the pay dates. Pay statements are available online at HR Direct.
- Direct Deposit: All new employees are required to sign up for direct deposit. Direct deposit means that your paycheck will be automatically deposited into your account once you enroll. You can sign up for direct deposit by entering your banking information at HR Direct.
